A special message for the voters of
South West Surrey

Richard Mollet

Congratulations! If you're fortunate enough to live in the constituency of South West Surrey, at the forthcoming General Election your unenviable choice includes two of the most egregious supporters of the Digital Economy Act.

In the Conservative corner, Jeremy Hunt is seeking your support again. He spent much of the Commons "debates" pouring scorn on the DE Bill, but then voted for it anyway. You may wish to take this into consideration when deciding if you'll vote for him.

Representing Labour is a new face, that of Richard Mollet. You may not be familiar with the name if you follow politics, but you'll certainly know him if you have ever had any dealings with the BPI. He's their Director of Public Affairs - so he quite literally Works For The BPI.

Now, it would be quite wrong to suggest that just because he has worked for the BPI in the past, Richard Mollet would necessarily seek to represent their interests if he were to be elected as the Honourable Member for South West Surrey.

And as he's someone who's been happy to put his professional reputation behind the BPI's dodgy statistics, doom-laden prognoses and taste for authoritarian but unworkable solutions that China would be quite proud of, you may feel that Richard Mollet will make the perfect Labour MP.

It's your choice, after all. Make your vote count.

Jeremy Hunt
